Check out Partner, Content, and Network Linkswavetop.com Those $125 TV cards have a great deal of circuitry and software that's not needed for WaveTop to work. The TV input portion's probably only a $20 feature that can and is already added to most new Video Cards. The hope is that by the time Windows'98 comes in April, enough TV input equipped computers will be available. I casually found that 10% of Home PC based Internet users have the input already simply by asking around in different Chat arena's. I'm not as concerned with the input availability, as I am with the "gee wiz" factor that will get people to make sure they have one. Software always dictates Hardwares sales... Always. Wavetop is a One way connection, so you can't communicate through it. It can't be used with a Modem** either, like you have with DirecPC Satellite Dishes from Huges, as the Bandwidth is simply not wide on the PBS sideband that Wavephore will be using for 99% of American homes to each get specifically addressed data packets. I really hope the press does not run with this notion that Window'98 may be delayed by current Browser based Litigation. As previously posted, it's doubtful they can or will compell MSFT to remove the Browser functions from WIndows'98. But Investors might get spooked for now. Hopefully, Trade press from this past weeks show will attract new interest in this stock. I'm actually more interested in knowing why InterCast from Intel seems to have been abandoned BY Intel in favor of WaveTop. I know there are many instances of Big players letting Little one's create a new market for them to latter buy and dominate, but there must be more to it then that. ** You Can use a Modem Input/Output to Compliment the TV-Input used by WaveTop. You Can NOT use the TV-Input in conjuction with the Modem Output as you would do a Satellite Dish Input with a Modem Output, trust me...
