Cypress nearing book value and on this basis is the cheapest semi I can find( Atmel is closing though). In the 10Q there is mention of one of their suppliers possibly going bellyup and this would "materially affect" the company. Anyone have any news on this? I'm going to buy if it gets any closer to book.

The guy who runs the Market Radar site got me out at 15. This was one of his picks and we expected big things from CY. I guess that If we buy here then is the stock goes back to 15 then we will all seem like geniuses.

I really do not think this is the end of everything or that CY will go out of business. I have been learning how to play the tech sector cycle. I also trade Fidelity select sector funds and it is not just CY that got killed. The Computer fund is now below where it was a year ago so we have good company. I have been using the IBD to plot Relative strength and volume and when the volume goes up, price falls and the RS goes negative then get out. This may seem like a simple approach but it seems to work in all types of markets...
