I understand your thinking about Nesbø. Dark is not an understatement. Not sure why he goes to the debt of darkness that he does? The last one I read was The Son and that one wasn't so bad. Then watching the video that freewheeling posted - Nesbø says that he came upon the story from a religious angle. I thought his comments demonstrated a level of complexity that I hadn't seen myself. I'd like comments of others who had read this book of his. I wish I had seen the interview before reading the book.......
