This force, at it's current level, would be easily defeated by a modern army. I don't believe it will remain at this level. I believe we will see multiples of this level, in a short period of time, for the reasons I have given. Unless, of course, there is swift action to defeat it. "...but no one really wants to try." That's what I see, so far.
