There's no doubt that someday silver will reach $50 again and probably beyond. I don't even concern myself with the fact that I paid on average 8 to 10 dollars more for most of the silver I bought as I have no intention of selling it anytime soon and who knows it just may end up in the possession of my children or grand children someday. And who knows where it's price will be. As one of my trading explained to me about owning gold and silver for when the SHTF which as you say it ultimately will. Ammo, land, food and water will probably be as if not more needed. But no doubt gold, and silver to lesser extent, are and have always been a store of value that can't be stolen......hopefully. And it seems that someday gold will play a role in whatever new monetary system arises from the ashes of the current impending collapse.
