I understand where you are coming from Norman.

>>>I got so tired of the disinformation, that I sold my AMTX

When I read SI I look at a post and ask myself "is this true or is it rhetoric?" Then I see a counter argument somewhere and I ask myself the same question. Now when there is money at risk, expect that at least one side may be telling the truth and the other side will construct counter information in an attempt to protect themselves, at any cost. So who wins? Easy. The one who is able to present themselves more convincibly to the masses. Yes, this may be the one publishing the disinformation.

Fact is, legal or not, disinformation/manipulation (D/M )is all part of the game. It is something that will never vanish from the world of investing. You just have to know it is there and understand that what ever you do your gambling.

Just because you don't detect D/M doesn't mean it does not exist. If you bailed out on Amati and Westel because of the shenanigans and you went somewhere else to invest I think your just fooling yourself. It sounds like you rather have the blinders on to all of it.

>>>There was simply no way that I could successfully compete in that type of environment.

Somebody will ALWAYS have the upper hand on you. We are just little ants on the dance floor of a salsa party.

>>>I took a small loss in AMTX and a major loss in WSTL (stemming from all of the inside trading that occurred on the eve of their proposed merger).

People either got lucky with the timing of these investments or they didn't. I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you.

The stock market is a POLITICAL PLAY investment based on the perceived value of one or more companies.

My best to you -Eric
