Just got back. Lots of Zips including the VST notebook Zip for $350. There's a half pallet of rebuilt PP's for $89, The shelves are somewhat picked over, but contain plenty of ZipPlus, PP (new and rebuilt), Jaz, Ditto and DittoMaxs. The endcap is well-stocked with DittoMax, ZipPlus and PP Zips. I can't remember all the prices, but the highest for any regular Zip was $120, not $150. $150 may be MSRP, but no one should ever have to pay that much again. Zip disk prices range from a 1-pack (IOM-branded) for $20 (boo-hiss) to a 10-pack (also IOM-branded) for $100. Maxell, Sony and Fuji co-brands were always more expensive, usually by a buck or two.

I finally saw a noticable amount of LS-120 disks, the cheapest being 10 for $149. About 18 inches of shelf space all told. Very sad.

Lots of Syquest on the shelves, including at least a dozen PP Sparkies for $200, but still no disks. I must admit, the juxtaposition of the $200 Sparkie 1.0 with the $200 Zip Plus 100 was a little embarrassing. Back at the endcap, right along side the SyJet 1.5 and the EZ-230's, they are also selling a Sy 270MB removable for - get this - $520 ($550 list). They should be ashamed. Maybe that's why they don't worry about sell-to vs.sell-through: with Syquest, they're the same thing! Or as they say in Syquest shipping: No deposit, no return.

Nomai 750s on the shelves do not appear to be moving. Shark250 is though. Still Christmas is coming, and everyone should get a little present.
