Radical left seems to just make it even worse these 10-15 % fringe on both sides (same ones who dominate all these political boards)

Ok, I'll bite..

As you play the false equivalence card that conservatives are so fond of, maybe you could cite an instance or two of what you consider a "radical left" position

..you know one of the ones that the lefty extremists on these boards harp on..

Specifically any position that is not supported by poll majorities in the American body politic

If its pushed by who you consider a radical lefty, but it is consistent with majority opinions, maybe it your scale that is in need of calibration

I agree with you about young kids not being able to leave the parents' nest. I have two of my own. Those opportunities that I had in the US after coming here in the mid 70's have evaporated.

And we remain very engrossed in the left and right. Everything has a left or a right twist. This is partly due to the media. I used to watch CNN but I suppose that because of market share pressures they are also digressing from reporting just plain vanilla news to reporting with a opinionated approach. Very soon they will be catching up with FOX and getting into their tent with the rival tent being MSNBC. It is disgusting.

In the CNN interview, now that you have mentioned, I did not hear any questions on the economy, debt etc. I suppose that was because both Christian and Hillary are associated with foreign affairs. Besides, the Republicans are focusing on Hillary's tenure as Foreign Secretary and Benghazi in particular. So CNN I suppose focused on what the FOX listeners would be interested in and had Christian instead of someone like Wolf or the host of AC360 moderate the show.
