Once again, you are making a poor comparison. According to the propaganda machines, 3 million gained insurance as a result of kids staying on their parents' policies until age 26. That is 1 percentage point, right there. And that went into effect shortly after enactment.

The law still hasn't been fully implemented, and a lot of what is coming is apt to cause more people to LOSE coverage rather than GAIN it. We'll see about that, but you can't just include those 3 million 18-26 year olds (or however many it really is) because it is convenient to bolster the appearance of improvement then forget about them when it is less convenient.

There is just no way to look at the numbers and reasonably make a claim that it has been worth it or that it represents an improvement. And when you look at the damage done it is clear the law should be repealed, even if it means returning to the status quo ante. The damage done by it is far worse than any marginal benefit that might have been produced.
