Check out the hands-on SparQ review at Message 2958521
the poster did a first class job of reporting. A must-read for IOM investors.

PP speed is 700 KB/sec, 44% slower than its rated 1.25 MB/sec, and 12% slower than ATAPI/SCSI Zip. Still 700 KB/sec is quite an acheivement for a PP device. Wish PP Zip could do it. It would remove any qualms I have about it.

SparQ makes "buzzy" noises some times. I wonder if this is a harbinger of future reliability problems.

Other than those two small issues, the PP SparQ looks pretty good.
