Pierre was not the designer of the F-16. He was an engineer who worked on the F-16 designer. Big difference. He has fought every fighter design for the last 40 years. He even fought putting a radar in the F-16. He doesn't know what he is talking about. The F-35 has issues, particularly in the pace of software development but it is primarily an air to ground machine with a credible air to air capability particularly beyond visual range. Times and technology have changed. Pierre has not!
