Personally I favor zero net immigration. Bring the military home and seal the borders from illegal immigration. Legal immigration would be net zero, meaning that only when 10 U.S. citizens emigrate to Canada would 10 Canadians then be allowed to emigrate to the U.S. Same for every other country. Nixon was well intentioned when he established the EPA, but he didn't understand the problem. Tripling their budget would not meaningfully impact real wages. It would also increase the wait time in good D.C. restaurants, especially those serving organic food. Just my opinion.
