IMO, that's a wonderful question. My guess is that it shouldn't matter (in terms of reward) whether one is atheist, agnostic, or believer because it is one's behavior that would be judged.

You asked about the building you saw in Idaho. If it was large and clearly Mormon owned, it was probably a new temple. In the last 30 years, there have been some nice examples of more modern architecture used for temples. If it was small like the average church it would probably be a ward building. In between would be a stake center which would have a full basketball court inside taking up space.

Genealogy is fun I agree, although I must confess that others in my family have done almost all of it. The preceding generations, I mean. I only had to stick my name into the slot. Same with my husband.
