"Clinton alone had 8 years to get us out" It's not quite that simple. Clinton maintained the "no fly" zones so Saddam couldn't simply slaughter the Kurds and Shiites. I believe it was the "first" George Bush that encouraged the Shiites in Southern Iraq to attack Saddam's forces and they got creamed because they never got the backing that they expected from the U.S. Clinton was just trying to protect both the Kurds and Shiites in Iraq and he did a pretty good job. As far as the U.S. training ISIS, that's just total BS. The U.S. did try to train "moderates" to fight in Syria because a lot of folks in congress were calling for it and it seemed the right thing to do. I don't really see where Clinton OR Obama are really at fault for this MESS we're seeing NOW in the Middle East.
