I've always felt the God of the old testament was a petty, cruel sociopath. Were he a human, you'd hope he would be caught and executed, or at the very least, imprisoned. Being a made up thing in any case, I've always wondered why people don't just imagine a wonderful, happy world with a lot of features that benefit themselves personally and believe in THAT. Instead of these canned religions created by other folks. Sort of "creative religion".
