So I guess the question is whether the K6 is prohibitively expensive to make as far as margins are concerned. Performance doesn't appear to be an issue.

Assuming for the sake of argument that AMD remains two speed bins behind Intel in performance over the remainder of .35 micron and .25 micron production, and AMD is able to solve its yield problems (to the extent they aren't already solved, will the K6 remain a prohibitively expensive chip to manufacture?

I would guess the answer is no. We'll see.
