Internal Revenue Service Commissioner John Koskinen testified Friday before Congress about the magical disappearance of two years of Lois Lerner’s emails. Looking like a smug, perverted grandfather, Koskinen refused to apologize for concealing this alleged “hard-drive crash” and was actually apologized to by committee Democrats.

You read that right, Democrats apologized to him! Do yourself a favor, take a minute and go read this piece on the hearing. Share it, spread it around. Democrats apologized to the head of the IRS, the same IRS that will give you a colonoscopy, take your house, seize your bank accounts and send you to prison for not being able to produce receipts from seven years ago.

Democrats are the party of the IRS, and they’re proud of it.

Sandy Hook Lead Investigator Dies Suddenly at Age 49 ,
.....................................................................................................

dailypaul.com

Major William Podgorski, one of the lead investigators of the events at Sandy Hook School in Connecticut, has died suddenly of undisclosed causes.

His obituary reads:

A state police major from Farmington died Monday at Yale-New Haven Hospital after a brief illness.

William Podgorski, 49, was commander of the state police western district, which includes the barracks in Canaan, Litchfield, Southbury and Bridgeport.

Trooper Kelly Grant said Podgorski underwent surgery on Friday, and then was transferred to Yale-New Haven, where he died. She said she did not know the cause of Podgorski’s death.

Podgorski was a 24-year veteran of the state police and served in a variety of assignments, including the traffic division, the forensic lab, the governor’s security detail and homeland security.

He is survived by his wife and three children, aged 11, 12 and 14.

Many people believe that Sandy Hook was a hoax geared towards scaring the public into giving up their guns. Given the recent public outcry against the official narrative, those who are suspicious will likely have a lot of questions about the sudden illness and death of a 49 year old man who had the inside scoop. The skeptics will be certainly be waiting with baited breath to hear about Podgorski’s cause of death.

Secretary Kerry faces a tough week, especially after the Egyptians celebrated his visit by convicting three Al-Jazeera journalists on terrorism charges and giving them long prison terms.

Where we now stand six years into the Age of Obama: The President isn’t making America safer at home, he doesn’t have the jihadis on the run, he has no idea how to bring prosperity, democracy, or religious moderation to the Middle East, he can’t pivot away from the region, and he doesn’t know what to do next.

Obamacare. The Affordable Care Act’s hopelessly incompetent rollout, ongoing management nightmares and constantly changing arbitrary rules appear to have been concocted to impose utter chaos on the health care system and ultimately to bring about a single-payer, i.e., government-run, system. If that’s really so, early returns indicate that it’s working, as the statist regime’s drag on the economy — and not this winter’s miserable weather — was a primary cause of the economy’s recently estimated 2 percent annualized first-quarter contraction.

The IRS comissioner insists his agency did not break the law or relevant statutes. But under questioning by Rep. Trey Gowdy, the IRS commissioner also admitted that he doesn't know the law or the relevant statutes:

"You have already said, multiple times today, that there was no evidence that you found of any criminal wrongdoing," Gowdy said. "I want you to tell me: What criminal statutes you have evaluated?"

"I have not looked at any," the IRS commissioner admitted.

"Well then how can you possibly tell our fellow citizens that there is no criminal wrongdoing if you don't even know what statutes to look at?" Gowdy followed-up.

"Because I've seen no evidence that anyone consciously --"

"Well how would you know what elements of the crime existed? You don't even know what statutes are in play," Gowdy said, visibly annoyed. "I'm going to ask you again: What statutes have you evaluated?"

"Uh," the IRS commissioner stumbled, "I think you can rely on common sense--"

"Common sense? Instead of the criminal code, you want to rely on common sense? No, Mr. Koskinen, you can shake your head all you want to, commissioner. You have said today that there's no evidence of criminal wrongdoing and I'm asking you what criminal statutes you have reviewed to reach that conclusion."

"I reviewed no criminal statutes," said the IRS commissioner.
