You may very well be right about Tenet.

First of all...NOTHING is a slam dunk which was certainly proven in this case.

I personally think that Bush and Cheney WANTED to go after Saddam and they would have found some other way to do it if the WMD thing hadn't worked.

I don't think they paid enough attention to the State Department during the whole thing. Cheney's stuff about being greeted with flowers and the fact that they didn't want to put in enough troops for an "occupation" seemed critically shortsighted.

Then Bush's thing with the mission accomplished sign seemed a bit "highschool".
