Well, Chaz, like that book title says, Windows 95 is driving me Crazy!

I was going to repartition my disks and reinstall Windows NT and all this stuff, and everything just fell apart. I'm slowly recovering, but I've also been saying the Economist's prayer a lot. Fat16, Fat32, ntfs, fdisk, what a mismatched crock all that stuff is. Hope you saw my note about today's NYT articles, they'd been silent for a while but were pretty sanguine today.

Plus, I got my long awaited CD-recorder, and haven't gotten to touch it yet. Anyone know where I can get one of those $40-50 Symbios PCI SCSI cards? They're supposed to be about as good as anything, about 1/4 the price of the ever popular adaptec cards, but they also seem invisible. Another triumph of marketing over technology, or maybe the lingering bad influence of that older monopolist, AT&T.

Cheers, Dan.
