That's not what I wrote. You can certainly time the short-term movements. Look at just last week when I called the ST cycle low due 6/10-11 +/- 2 and SPX, NDX, DJIA made their bottoms on 6/12 while RUT made it's low 6/13. But THE bull market top will defy all bearish top picking attempts as long as the CB's are determined to drive asset prices up. In this type of environment timing the short-term bottoms for dip buying is likely to prove more fruitful than top picking.
