I agree that there is good music in every era and every genre. But there isn't tons of it.


What is "good" music? Music is probably the most subjective media in existence, so debate about what is "good" is silly.

One man's aural nightmare is another's pleasant dream.

I understand that finding music you consider good is a long, arduous journey for you. For the vast majority of people, it is not. They hear something on the radio, in iTunes, online, on MTV, wherever, and they like it. Simple as that.

You're really a very small niche of the music listening public here, so the market is not set up to cater to distinguishing people such as yourself. It's set up to cater to the masses, the lowest common denominator.
