One of my all time favorite bands is the Amazing Rhythm Aces, but you would never just stumble onto any of their better work. It just wouldn't happen because they never received any real recognition (well, they won a Grammy years ago). Today there are just so many and you have to sort through a lot of crap to find a diamond. The ease with which musicians can produce their own albums may be a doubled-edged sword in that sense.
