Well, it depends on what fast food place you worked in at the time whether it was $1 or $1.40.

But either way, you were vastly overpaid if you made $2.80/hour. I seriously doubt you made that in 1967. The minimum wage has essentially kept pace over the years, contrary to lies you get in your liberal media ($1/hour in '67 == $7.12/hour in '14).
