So you're saying they're full of it. Right?

Market noise like this occurs all the time. It does'nt
mean the future for companies in positions like Dell are
doomed. Did you read the Intel article I posted yesterday?
Lengthy, but very informative. All of the positives and
negatives including future business opportunities and
directions are presented.

Stocks behave like they are right now mostly due to fear
precipitated by ignorance. Unfortunately, when it comes to technology, 95% of the folks are idiots.. we need them to
make the market but they're the first to press the eject
button when they read a story they don't understand.

Do you remember 2 years ago whe Dell lost 50% of it's value
in just 10 weeks because memory prices were falling?
Did anybody have a clue that this would be a bonanza for
Dell? Yes, a few did but nobody listened. When everyone
finally got the message, Dell turned on a dime and fried
every short in it's path. The same is happening now with
the Asian crisis.

This is part of Hank's strategy. Hoping for a repeat of
the infamous 95 semiconductor meltdown panic attack where
everything lumped into the "technology" category got
ruthlessly hammered. Again, this is at best a wild ass
guess, pure gambling.

The meltdown seems to be happening again however, and Hank
may get lucky if he has a good cover strategy, but Dell has
been holding up really well. Like ole Hank says, only time
will tell.

cheers,

MEATHEAD
