No problem but its illegal to impersonate a geologist and to be one you have to graduate from a recognized university (go figuer). I have a college degree ( the same as E>Charters) and was taking mining engineering at university but spending all my time in the bush doing exploration so I didnt stick around long enough to graduate. Under the Canadian Mining Regulations I am a "reasonably qualified individual" to write and file assesment reports.
In exploration You can learn alot from books but there is a alot you have to learn out in the field doing it.
Then after you find a good showing or mine the Phds come along and tell you why its there.
