Poof, $300 bucks cheaper on a $3000 machine. You are productive, use the
money for good not evil.<

Jeez, Doren;

Leaving aside the merits of supporting local vendors (and receiving product support in return) and economies:

1) If it's a US Post Office box, private shippers can't deliver.

2) Vendors wont ship C.O.D. and probably wont ship on credit card without a verifiable address to ship to. Ie -- who's going to sign for the parcel?

3) What's someone's legal recourse in case those good-willed Nevadans are a "little slow" in forwarding your machine to you?

4) Who's going to be liable for any damages to the unit?

5) Who's going to pay the double shipping charges?

Personally, I smell "scam". I'm sure you meant well by this post but without knowing any of the specifics, I wouldn't be passing this stuff on.
