I believe you end up with the same number of shares as you had before.

"In the Distribution, each NorthStar Realty common stockholder will receive shares of NSAM common stock
on a one-for-one basis, after giving effect to the one-for-two reverse stock split."

100 shares NRF becomes 50, then you get 50 NSAM.

I'll gladly take some more gain, bit I'll be interested in the dividend also.
