i insist that it is NOT even close to being as bad (or WORSE) than the MANY ill-intentioned fouls by MANY pig-players who use their cleats as their weapon of choice upon the opponent's legs, knees, ankles... etc..... particularly those late-action fouls.

that's true, but biting is a social taboo, you just don't do it. and there is zero tolerance in civil society for that.

Hard tackles, at least can be seen as part of the game, not biting.
