The Wall Street Journal on Friday, 12/12/97 talking about the recent
Hi-Tech situation. It says that the business environment is much
better now than before asian flu. The reason is companys like Samson,
Heindai etc. are cutting back productions. The competitions are
getting much less now. For consumer side, China and India are picking
up.

I don't blame your just extending present situation to the future.
Lots of the so called analysts are doing in the same way. Don't
forget before asian flu, the analysts are predicting the hi-tech
industries are growing at 25% a year forever. Now, you know the rest.

In reality, the hi-tech will grow no matter what. Those with cash
rich companys will do much better after debacle. TSEMF will grow
faster with asian flu than without it. New designer center is
completed, more appreciations are coming.

When do you expect stock to get to 5 - 6 range?
It certainly looks oversold, but then so do most semis today.
