By "bailed" I'm referring to the fact they're no longer offering individual policies. Most continue as of now to offer employer policies and some offer grandfathered policies until they time out (many at the end of this year). We don't know who will be offering plans in TX in 2015 yet, AFAIK. I would also point out that many have merged; e.g., Wellcare has bought Windsor and a lot of BCBS units (not BCBST). Many others, like Humana, have reduced their presence. It doesn't matter, though -- because there is little difference between the various plans, which reflects the lion's share of the reduction in competition.
