I like Bob Brinker and listen to Money Talk regularly. I noticed that he was kind ov nervous today (Saturday). Remember when someone asked about Gardner Brothers complain that mutual funds don't publish their holdings on timely basis? He was quite evasive, mentioned index funds,- that they don;t have to reveal their holdings,- then said that since fund managers buy and sell a lot it would be foolish to tell everybody what they have. Well, I agree with what he said but Motley Fool guys are still correct in their statement - why not to admit it? I feel he disagrees with the Gardners but does not want to atack them openly. However, the ton of his voice told me a lot (I am a professional singer and can detect certain emotions in peoples' voices very easy). Going back to UTEK - I think Bob is a little bit in distress. This may have nothing to do with the Market or UTEK though. I will listen to his show tomorrow.

Re: I plan to buy 2,000 shares of UTEK in a nontaxable account and then sell 2,000 in my taxable account.

I'm not an accountant, but this sounds like a violation of wash sale rules and a quick trip to IRS Hell when/if they find out about it. I believe you need to wait 30 days to buy back.
