Nope, I have been to Vegas many times but I am not much of a gambler. No real interest there.

No matter what I make, I will not mismanage money. I will buy another nice car and a propjet plane, both used and already depreciated. Maybe a small boat, also used. For jewelery, I always go to the gem and jewelery shows, wholesale section. I will spend more money, but the way I spend will stay the same. No sense in throwing away good money.

David

<I also read a study that showed 92% of people who won lotteries were back at square one (or even broke !)within 5 years of winning.>

Good point Durro, it's like the cork is popped and pent up desires to spend crazily are unleashed.

< my long-term goal is not to sell any shares but to live on the margining of a small amount of stock and not paying any tax on the margin I am living on-- David Smith>

This cures that crazy spending spree...but I have heard that there are cases where stocks plummet, lose their marginability and the margin calls pile drive the stock down mercilessly.
