ADSL is cool and several magnitudes better than analog modem. But quantum leap in real life doesn't happen. Now you have 56k, then they may sell you 112k, then maybe 500k, then 1Mbps, then 2Mbps, and so on, don't expect to get 8Mbps overnight. That's how captalism works.

ASND is aggressively working on ADSL and DSLAM solutions. It should be doing great from now on.
