Sambo,

As to sales in Asia please read the following:

exchange2000.com

It was also observed at the time that a lot of product was bought to
be re-exported after assembly to the U.S. and Europe, reducing even
further the effect of the current Asian woes.

No doubt the Asian problems are serious and may have a serious impact
on the industry as a whole, but the 70% figure is overstated and may
suggest conditions for S3 to be especially difficul, which they are not.

S3's problems were a lack of a high-end product at this very moment and
the restatement issue, which not as excessive as the market reaction to
it tends to suggest, but as observed, WS can be very harsh.

Once S3 can find its way back in favor based on performance, the runup
can be quick and considerable.
