.......that is why, imho, cook has move intu into the financial internet area--he knows msft can eat into their software domain and eventually destroy them.

....but msft does not have the excite/ckfr friendship that intu has. in the internet finacial world it will be about partners and it seems that ckfr/int/xcit are doing the deals, signing the contracts, and making the partnerships that will keep them ahead of msft.

.....i also have a belief, and it is just a hunch, that bankers, insurance companies, brokerages, etc, if given a choice, would not want bill gates to hold their money--the intu/xict/ckft connection appears to be a more trustworthy financial broker.
