Thomas,

I agree that WDC is also a growth company but the growth usually follows with the next business cycle (transition from low capcity drives to the higher capcity drives with corrsponding increases in demand for higher capacity). The growth is shown by WDC overall continued increases in volume of drives sold and increases in revenues over the years. Could WDC be positioning itself for the next cycle by focusing on the high end storage, and will the demand be there for the high end? With the increase in networking of computers (intranet and internet) and the increase in bandwidth that is expected with the newer technology (allowing transmission of video), high end storage should be in demand. Managment has been through these cycles before and has been able to prosper. IMHO, management is an extremely important asset to WDC and should position itself to catch the next wave.
