True, I don't recall your using the term hero. But you've used that republican quote so many times as to demonstrate admiration. Have you ever read Lovecraft stories or just like to use the quote and were surprised when his true stripes were revealed? He's a second or third rate writer, imo, but seems to have found a niche among modern horror and suspense readers that has overinflated his overall persona. Only 75% of republicans? Why not 51% or 100%? The real test here is if a guy like you who seems to find racism under every stone will dismiss the obvious racist remarks of a third rate writer like Lovecraft... because he shares your bigotry to republicans.
