Thanks very much, GZ, that was a very clear explanation of a coil.

Maybe if it strikes upward it could be called a cobra and if it strikes downward it could be called a chicken snake. It also reminds me of something that went wrong with a mattress in the middle of the night.

Seriously, I appreciate the clear explanation and hope to call on you from time to time to straighten me out on other terms.

About "coils," does anything in the chart prior to or during the coil suggest whether the coil will break upward or downward?
