Jan, <However, we do need to press for changes in the leadership.(I think Fiberman is working on it) So far the Board has shown little mettle to deal with the recent problems in a clear and decisive manner.> Agreed < They have fallen seriously short of their fiduciary duty towards the shareholders thereby enhancing the image of a rubber stamp, country club type Board. Agreed. <The Board will have to show some life soon and start disseminating pertinent information to the shareholders about measures taken and why.> This by far is the most serious problem(imo)facing S3, dwarfing all other issues, including Asia, sales, accounting, law suits and just about any other issue you can think of. Ironically it is also the easiest to solve. However, when egos are involved, often they dig in deeper in an attempt prove they were right rather than admitting what is obvious to all except those in controll. Any time a stock price declines 80% for any reason, its time for a change at the top. That what fiduciary respondiblity is all about. Wall Street trades on perception-perception-perception. Perception becomes reality on the street. The great evil is uncertainty. Combine no leadership with uncertainty on Wall Street and your dead meat(as well have seen). I have seen mediocre companies at best become Wall Street favorites and great companies become wall flowers, all because of perception...or lack of it. S3 just doesn't get it or doesn't want to get it. <They will be accountable and we can show our pleasure or displeasure with our vote at the upcoming shareholders meeting.> I understand Fiberman will be voting with his newly acquired AK-47, It my understanding he wants to "clean house" and put GJ out of his misery.<VBG> Don't worry the lawsuits lawyers would never let a meal ticket slip away........unless of course they got Fiberman defense case for more money.<ggggg>
