I'm never EVER going to get my UPS packages by drones
I'm sure you'll live that long, Steve. The driverless vehicles are already here, and a little robot to take the package to your front door is totally doable. Probably won't look at all human, though.
How the fuck is the robot going to do the science as the diagnostic test changes?
With a simple nightly software update over the internet, just as your anti-virus is updated today. It will be surer than hoping your human diagnostician has read the latest journals.

I'm a former software engineer, so, maybe I can see this future a little more clearly than you. The capabilities of AI's and robots are in an explosive growth phase right now. Prepare to be astounded.

Medical diagnostics. Really. How the fuck is the robot going to do the science as the diagnostic test changes?

Robots will be able to keep up better than most humans will. google it. Not yet. But plausibly in our lifetimes. Almost certainly in our children's lifetime. And definitely in our grandchildren's lifetime.

Not only will we have to reconceptualize what a corporation is (as I said in a prior post), but we will have to reconceptualize what a human being and what a "machine" or a "computer" is.

Next Generation did a show on that, where Data is put on trial to see if he can "resign" from Star Fleet or if he is "just" a machine. A pretty interesting show.
