the founders of this country specifically and emphatically ruled for "separation of church and state
Well, I do think you have hit the on the key fact/question of this decision. That is: "Where is the line drawn between "Church" and "State" or where should it be drawn.

I actually now favor the dissent's argument that if you are "for profit" corporation, even a non-public one, you don't get to carry your religious belief's protections/rights over into area of commerce. "For profit" is not by nature a religious activity and therefore that should make you play by the rights and rules for commerce which is a "State" regulated activity and should not defer to protections guaranteed to "Church" .

So I agree with you about that.

And I know I defended the majority's opinion previously (I liked their something for everybody approach inasmuch as they said the loser's can actually get what they want despite our decision here), but that was before I read a summary of the Dissent's argument which to me makes more "legal" sense.

Lose the pejoratives would ya--they just muddy the water when clarity is needed.
