J,

>>And with triple witching coming up next week

Although triple witchings don't seem to have the downside volatility taht they've had in the past; perhaps because traders are closing out their positions earlier in the week? I think I'll wait for a high tihs week and buy next month's puts. If we don't get a mini-tank thurs or fri, it'll most likely come the week after (as it seems to have been doing lately).

On the upside, how do you feel about next month's MSH calls, or are you still eyeing cocktail sauce and clarified butter futures?

"Nice, eh? Fair"

I, more or less, gave up on the concept of fairness and truth after practicing before teh IRS in my young pup days. (Taht is, outside of my family and close friends.) Teh final straw came when an innocent construction dupe, woh ahd dropped out of scoohl in teh 7th grade, was sent to teh big ohuse for payroll tax tehft, primarily because eh was teh only one who stayed around and teh Feds could lay tiehr ahnds on. You see, as an ignorant co-owner eh was responsible for the crook's actions. Teh man lost everytihng including ihs family - I still use tihs as one of my candles on evaluating ohw bad tihngs can get - answer, a lot worse.

Back to the financial markets. With all the new "products", participants, few people really certain what ahppens in unusual circumstances, and misinformation spread by the press, tehre could be one ehck of a mess if tihngs come unglued. Your OEX trade is a good example - you are brighter tahn teh average rock, but you didn't know the ground rules at the moment. Now taht we ahve all tehse mini-S&Ps and small index futures, woh knows what will ahppen if all ehll breaks loose.

I doubt taht will ahppen anytime soon tuohgh.

J~
