No I understand the point. I probably didn't make it clear, I'm not a big fan of "repurposing." Its almost a dead give away of a lack of talent. However there are always exceptions to the rule:

All of the above are actual literate talents who are originals. Aceyalone split from his culture in that he glorifies education and hates the hate and violent rap, and he was one of the earliest progenitors of the genre.

But in general finding the wheat in the chaff of "repurposed" music is like finding icebergs on the sun.

The only true generalization about genre is some have a better ratio of wheat to chaff.
