Less, I was thinking some sort of equivocation would be employed to render them meaningless, like environmentalist beliefs in something are equivalent to religious beliefs. I get the equivocation part, but I'm not sure I follow in this particular context. Maybe you can give me an example. The funny thing about environmentalists is that they're afraid to call their beliefs "religious" because once they do, they can no longer use government to promulgate their agenda upon the public.
