When those 800 ISIS members routed those 300,000 Iraqi, they gained a huge stockpile of weapons and armored vehicles. The pretty much doomed Assad.

He probably will draw back to Alawite dominated areas. That he can defend. That will leave ISIS breathing room to eliminate the rest of the rebels. If ISIS is smart, and they show few signs of that, they will consolidate what they have, try to find someone to buy their oil and put off expansion for a little while. They could cause some real problems that way.
