Maybe Obama (and Ginsburg) will wait until after the 2014 elections to see how it would be for Ruth to retire.>.

It is taking a huge chance we cannot afford. If we go to 6/3 how long will it take to get back to 5/4 dems? It is 10 times more important to have dems, any dems, in the majority then to have one genius in a minority.

Those votes are 5/4,5/4,5/4, so where does the extra genius come in that is so important we risk a dem seat.

It actually makes no sense at all! Holding on to that seat for the dems is more important than any single person.

Let her retire and let Obama put in a young healthy liberal dem who can live through 8 years of a pub president if that is what happens.
