One third of the workforce has given up looking.....part time jobs surging, full time jobs disappearing....lowest workforce participation since the 30s........hardly great news....

Hardly. At least not if they are halfway competent (and if they are tripped up from lack of competence its just their own failing, not anything good about the Dems or the administration).

Job growth coming out of this recession has been pathetic. And the unemployment rate, is only starting to look acceptable, because of the great drop in the workforce participation rate.

What percentage of the population is employed full time? How far back do you have to go to find such a low rate this far from the deep point of a recession?
