You obviously don't believe this. No one does. The President doesn't even believe that.


I do believe that, sincerely. Certainly humans screw up... in government and private business. I've spent my life working in private companies doing many things right and many things way wrong. It's human, it's not some crazy public/private disequilibrium. That's a political construct... not reality if you're a careful observer.

WE form governments, everywhere and always. Because we need them, to provide common good and keep each other in line. We can and should argue at the fringes about their power... but their essential good to the human race is undisputed. They make us a whole, and they allow us to do what we do best without dealing with the damning details of basic life.

It's a complicated world and it requires a complicated government. It's easy to hate that... I understand that emotion. But the libertarian folks need to recognize the benefits, not just go all nuts over their "freedoms" being infringed.
