FWIW, received the following unsolicitted e-mail ragarding VVUS:

hi mike,
havn't been able to get connected to si for some time now(sent a check
before they raised there price) still no word. signed up for motley fool
last week, still no password. i cant stand not being able to post about
this stock.first, i am an mechanical designer & have been for over 30 years.
i have been involved in startups & shutdowns for production plants from
asphault to biogums & food additives. they all use mechanical equipment &
processes that are complicated, never run the same way twice(even if you
only moove them across the street). i truly understand the frustration of
the shareholders on these threads as i also am very long on vvus & have been
since 33.5 pre split.
i would like to make a few points, pass them along to the thread if you
wish.
1. any management team that can take a co. from approval, patent,
production, sales etc. & distribution of all product in the amount of time
that has elapsed is very credible & capable.
2. to get another plant on line & inspected in the time frame vvus is very
impressive . (i'm not to mention time frames here because most know what
they are& i hate to type)
3.to many people are trying to pick fly s*** out of pepper trying to figure
out production figures when if they had all the facts they still wouldnt
understand the rest of the ramifications of distribution to revenues anyhow.
4.even the most proficient plant operators have shutdowns & year end is the
most common. the whole country comes to a standstill after Christmas.
5.the stock price is very low right now & may go lower. the price probably
wont go up signifiantly until most unknowns are in & when the earnings are
up.

IMHO purchase & patience will be rewarded. unfortunately i found this stock
to soon, but sooner than linda.

regards,
good
