The timing of this dramatic effect was not lost on those who are truly aware of the many challenges facing America today, as lefty-agitators mutilated a symbol that represents the freedom in which the United States was founded on 238 years ago. When a local Murrieta police officer intervened in the altercation, left-wing youths then set upon and attacked the officer which ended in ten young radicals in handcuffs and arrested. Fubho, Could you elaborate what you are referring to? Of course. Most of the economic news coming out of the media these days is good news. Dow setting record highs, unemployment down to 6.1%, the Fed saying the economy is on track, deficits are shrinking as tax revenues firm up, etc. So why is public opinion turning against Obama? Two reasons: 1) Wall Street gains but Main Street still feels the pain. That used to be a liberal slogan, by the way. Only difference today is that the media no longer wants to report that. That's why the news is so positive but public opinion is so negative. 2) Obama is committing so many mistakes, people no longer believe he is the reason why the economy is doing well. Hence not even the media can make up for Obama these days. Tenchusatsu
